Welcome Back

Welcome Back, Patient Charges and Scheduling Appointments

A warm welcome back to all our wonderful patients. We have missed you and it seems that you have also missed us!

From this week we start to return to some normality, albeit with only 2 surgeries running, and a resumption of more routine care and Aerosol Generating Procedures.

We thank you for your patience and please continue to bear with us as we work through the backlog of treatment.

I am sure that many of you are aware from media coverage that most dental practices are increasing their fees because of the new way of working and PPE costs.

WE ARE NOT PLANNING TO DO THIS!

We fully intend to keep our prices at current levels for as long as possible.

The team and I are working exceptionally hard to make this possible but we do need your understanding.

HOW ARE WE DOING THIS?

We are having an additional surgery installed so that clinicians can work between two surgeries which allows time for air settling and effective cleaning- often referred to a “fallow time”. The current guidance sets this time as 60 minutes.

We have sourced washable PPE and have installed washing machines at the practice.

We are Zoning the diaries to make them more time efficient.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

We are asking that you be more flexible with your appointments. There will be daily availability for hygiene appointments but examination appointments will be restricted to one day per week for each dentist. Emma will be dedicating more time to specialist services.

We ask that families try to group appointments together for examinations and hygiene. As you are all from the same household we do not need to leave fallow times between your appointments.

One of the areas you can help us most is by turning up at your allotted time as any delays do cause us major issues. We will not be able to see you and we will have to charge for the allotted time and PPE. If you do need to reschedule then please give us as much notice as possible.

Unfortunately, our lovely Skin Therapy room has become the new surgery. We can still provide these treatments, once allowed, and are planning a second floor devoted to our SKIN THERAPY treatments, we hope this will be completed in September.

Current guidance also prevents us from providing Facial aesthetics e.g. Fillers. We hope that this will be changed in the coming weeks and will contact patients to let you know when appointments can be booked.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon and please email us if you have any queries about your visit. Please watch our video below prior to your visit so you are familiar with our new protocols.

Emma and the team.
