I’m delighted to write and tell you about the Skin Therapy news at 5 Dental.
Our new loft Skin Therapy suite is now complete and working well to provide a quiet sanctuary in which we can deliver treatments. This area has been designed for pure relaxation and wellbeing and we are increasing the treatment range over the coming months.
In addition to the Hydrafacials, this brand now includes Keravive scalp treatments and lymphatic drainage body treatments. They have partnered with Murad the performance skincare brand, developed by Dr. Murad in 1990 – his manifesto is “Skincare is healthcare”. These facials can now be personalised using Murad products with retinol booster to minimise the look of fine lines and wrinkles and can be a preparation treatment prior to dermal fillers.
Hannah Keanie continues to provide dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injectables. Some clients are also using the latter therapy to successfully treat migraines. She also provides underarm injectables to treat excessive sweating or Hyperhidrosis which can severely affect confidence for both men and women.
In addition, Ben Gurney, consultant Maxillo facial surgeon, is providing Profilo treatments – an injectable Hyaluronic procedure for anti-aging that treats the source of aging skin. Ben also can provide consultations for those concerned about head and neck moles and lesions. These can be lasered in house under local anesthetic and sent for biopsy avoiding lengthy delays with hospital referral.
In August we will be introducing healing light therapy that can be used alone or in conjunction with the above treatments including micro needling (SkinPen). Light therapy can also be used to treat acne and psoriasis and can have benefits for Seasonal Affective Disorder sometimes referred to as Winter Depression.
Here at 5 Dental & Skin, we believe that the fundamental basis for a successful aesthetic procedure is an in-depth consultation with our aesthetician Stacey. She will assess your needs and develop a bespoke personal treatment plan in consultation with our clinical experts to help you achieve natural looking results.
To keep our clients sun safe and protect their skin we have also introduced the Vegan friendly and paraben free Minetan – a safe and effective spray tanning treatment. The product is odour free with all mists containing active ingredients that benefit the skin including moisturising antioxidants and oils. Stacey also is on hand to recommend sunscreen products as part of your daily facial products and can give advice on the Zenii supplement range.
