Profhilo® is a unique skin remodelling treatment that works by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the skin through the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid (HA).
Unlike other anti-ageing injectables that use fillers to add volume and stretch out the skin, Profhilo uses hyaluronic acid a naturally occurring substance in the body to hydrate, firm and actually rebuild new, younger-looking skin cells.
This works on reversing the signs of ageing at a cellular level, stimulating new collagen and elastin cells, significantly improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and giving you firmer, more youthful skin on your face.
It acts as a hydrator rather than a traditional dermal filler, and is therefore fantastic for those with tired, dull and ageing skin, as it provides overall more plump and luminous skin.

Ben is qualified in both medicine and dentistry and completed his specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical training in Surrey and Sussex. Before taking up a consultant post, he completed an overseas fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia. He is now based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Guildford Nuffield Hospital.
His special interests include oral surgery, wisdom tooth extraction, skin lesions, jaw surgery and facial trauma surgery. At 5dental, Ben offers all routine and surgical extractions that can be provided under sedation with our in house sedationists. These include orthodontic extractions and more complex wisdom teeth removal.
We provide consultations and treatment for skin and oral biopsies, including mole and skin tag removal.
Ben also provides Anti-Wrinkle injections and Profhilo.
Profhilo is an injectable anti-ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid to address skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age. It is injected just below the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly and reacts with the tissue to instantly boost hydration.
