Over the weekend the advice from Public Health England and the British Dental Association has significantly upscaled with the resulting spread of Covid-19.
Current advice is that we cease all routine care with immediate effect. Any patients with appointments or outstanding treatment will be contacted this week and the consequences of this explained.
We have been informed that we are allowed to provide an emergency service ONLY for acute dental pain or swelling.- and only for asymptomatic patients.
We will monitor the situation closely and will let you know immediately when this position is reversed.
In the mean time please do not hesitate to contact us for advice. I would ask that you give us a day or two to contact as many of our booked patients as possible before calling us. The team will have many calls to make and the lines will be busy. Please feel free to email if easier at firstname.lastname@example.org
These are challenging times, we appreciate your understanding and implore you to stay safe. Please self isolate as much as possible, you may be of the opinion that you want to get the virus so its done with. However, you may then infect others who are at risk and our health service simply cannot cope with large outbreaks.
We will be contacting our most vulnerable patients to check they are well and have the help they need. If you, or anyone you know requires assistance please feel free to contact us.
We hope that you, your family and loved ones stay healthy during these unprecedented times.
